Fabric Care
- Keep the sofa away from direct sunlight to prevent the colour from fading out.
- Vacuum and clean your fabric sofa regularly, at least once a week.
- Treat and remove stains immediately.
- Vacuum the spot to remove any loose particles available.
- Mix a small amount of dish soap with cool water to create a mild cleaning solution.
- Dampen a microfiber cloth in the solution and gently blot the stain. Avoid rubbing the fabric or blotting it forcefully as it can cause the stain to set in further.
- Use a fresh cloth (dampened with plain water) to dab away the soap mixture.
- Press on the wet spot with a clean and dry cloth or paper towel to soak up the excess moisture from the fabric.
- Direct your fan to the spot to speed up the drying process.

I recently bought a 3 seater Cathy tech fabric recliner sofa. I requested for recliner option to be removed which they did. But the sofa is now at a permanently reclined angle (around 120 degree angle). As the seat base is wide, the reclined back makes it uncomfortable to sit for long hours. As a work around I use a triangular wedge pillow for back support (which has somewhat helped). My daughter developed lower back problems and she now doesn't want to sit on the sofa anymore. when we watch Tv she prefers to sit on the carpet rather than the sofa. That defeats the purpose of having a sofa in the living room.
I had raised the issue with their Sales person and customer support. They have been friendly and understanding. But as this is a new product and no one previously has used it with recliner option removed, I got to be the experimental customer. This is a design issue and their manufacturing unit has to address this in future for the benefit of future customers. I am sharing this feedback only for that purpose to be of help to future customers. Whenever customer asks for recliner option removed, manufacturing should reset the recline angle and probably keep it to minimum. It should be at a comfortable angle to sit.
Other than this recline angle issue, everything else is fine with the sofa. The tech fabric feels good, the build quality is good, seat cushion is firm, stitching around the seams are very professional. Overall it is still a good sofa, except that in my case the reclined back (that is fixed) has made long hours of sitting uncomfortable. Even visitors feel the same way. A triangular wedge pillow is a definitive workaround (using it in reverse - with broader base at top)
Another small suggestion is that, they can perhaps they can put a better cloth at the bottom of the sofa. the black cloth used now is very thin and usually disintegrates in a few years.
