Furniture Disposal
Details
• The price stated for disposal is on a per item basis (e.g. If you need to dispose 2 sofas, kindly add 2 quantities to your cart)
• Includes simple disassembly (10 minutes maximum). If it is a complicated furniture piece that requires more than 10 minutes disassembly time, please disassemble it first before our courier arrives.
• No dismounting of items affixed to walls & ceilings
• Additional fees for last minute disposal and/or dismantling request on the day of delivery will be applicable ranging from $20 per item. Fees will be advised on the spot.
• Old mattress disposal is complimentary with the purchase of a new mattress from Bedandbasics, on a one-to-one basis. For example, if you purchase one new mattress and wish to dispose of two old mattresses, one mattress disposal will be provided free of charge, while the second will be chargable.
• This disposal service is only available to customers who are purchasing furniture items from BedandBasics.sg
Before disposal
Kindly ensure sufficient space is cleared for disposal. Please remove all loose items from the item before our team arrives for the disposal/delivery. BedandBasics.sg will not take responsibility for items that are cleared unintentionally because they were left on the disposed item.
Staircase charge
If our delivery team is unable to proceed with the disposal via lifts (e.g. furniture is unable to fit into the lift or a working lift is unavailable), BedandBasics.sg reserves the right to cancel the disposal and refund your disposal fees less a 10% processing fee.
Should our team decide (at our sole discretion, and with your agreement) that disposal can be carried out safely via staircases in a non-hazardous manner, additional charges per item will be applicable as follows:
- S$10 per item per non lift-accessible storey
- To be paid directly to the delivery team in cash before commencement.
- Fees also apply to stairs within landed properties or HDB maisonettes.
Acceptable Dimensions: Length x Depth x Height less than 1.5 cubic metres
Weight Limit: : Weigh up to 60kg per item
Note: As we need to cater for space on our trucks for the disposal, we seek your understanding that we will not be able to accept additional disposal requests on the spot. If you are unsure of the amount of disposal service you need to purchase beforehand, please contact our customer service staff at hello@bedandbasics.sg to verify accordingly.
